Though it’s not entirely perfect, the benefits of not having to beat grid or warp, the ability to be spontaneous, that it runs inside Ableton, and is a lot of fun to play make this my digital DJ app of choice. Jun 17, 2011 Overlook tracks at different BPMs and you may be overlooking the perfect track to play next; Tracks sound better close to the tempo they were recorded at – If you’ve stuck on say 126 BPM, but you’re using tracks from 120 to 135 BPM, those at the extremities of this range won’t sound so hot at 126. You’d be better off playing them.

Recording External and Internal Audio. Audio is recorded through the Mixer, to disk, and the recording is automatically placed onto the first Playlist Track where it won't overlap with existing content. And so it will play with any live effects present on the Input Mixer track.
NOTE: Make sure Enable MIDI master sync is selected in the Options menu, 'Send master sync' will be disabled otherwise. Synchronization type - Sets the synchronization type. This is the time/code format used for syncing MIDI devices to play/start/stop commands, etc. MIDI clock is normally used. See the manual associated with your external MIDI.
